Talented Tony!

Tony decided to wow us again with another composition. This one has a vocal, violin, and piano part. As soon as I get the composition software working, I will upload some audio as well.

Tony was tasked with describing why the Dead Sea is a desert. So we worked together to come up with some lyrics, and I set him loose with a pencil and some music composition sheets. Everything on this paper is his writing with the exception of a quarter rest he wasn’t sure about.

I will try and get some video or sound of him playing it.

After a recital, Tony decided to play around on one of the pianos in the piano gallery. He is still working on this piece as you will see, but he is making fast progress!

This is Tony performing at one of the MACSA Piano recitals. He is performing a short piece call Liebestraum (Dream of Love). He starts off hamming in up, and executes it flawlessly.

Grandma and Granpa were visiting and decided to drop in on Tony’s piano lesson.  His instructor Karl decided to play a duet with him.  There are moments as a father that force you to take a hard look at your children, and all you can do is marvel at what they can create.  After this performance, both grandparents were speechless, at one point you see that I step away.  I had to wipe away tears.

This is Tony performing at his talent show at Aue Elementary.  As you can tell he was making Daddy very proud!
